I mentioned this in Griffins thread as well. The only place I have seen a Wii in stock in constant supply is in SE Ohio albeit small supply like what you said. I have also heard that they were slightly available in Louisiana from real life friends. So I wasn't shocked to here they were available in WV and I am not so shocked about.
It is still sold out here in the Bay Area and in NJ where I have family that is looking for it. So I would say it is patchwork availability by region at most.
