Poll needs an option for "won't censor Caterine, and who knows what they'll do with Persona?"
No logic explaining why they would censor Catherine (unless it actually lives up to the suggestive sub title, which I doubt), nor any logic why we should connect these two games in our minds. Is Persona way more sexy than I thought?
Most of all, though, you overestimate the importance of the censorship. This will have very little impact on Sony sales, Nintendo and MS would have to try to exploit the situation with marketing a la 1990s Sega and Sony casting the "kiddie" image, but saying "we have the softcore pr0n and Sony doesn't" really doesn't help your brand with the majority population. Also, the Sony brand (God of War, Gran Turismo, Uncharted, etc) doesn't "stick" to a "kiddie" accusation like the Nintendo brand (Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Animal crossing, etc).
Could the competition push an "unsexy Sony" brand? I don't think enough gamers care. Could it push an "SJW Sony" brand? I think that would politicize Nintendo or MS too much. The best bet if any would be a viral campaign throug small outlets like ....vgchartz.
