Divinity: Original Sin 2 is secretly a brilliant tabletop RPG, as well as being our Game of the Year 2017. Sitting alongside the gargantuan main campaign is an entire platform for creating new tabletop-inspired romps. Today, Larian Studios announced a collaboration with Dark Eye creators Ulisses Spiele, bringing the popular German tabletop setting to Original Sin 2’s Game Master mode.
Update: Ragnaros returns in the latest Hearthstone Rastakhan's Rumble card reveals
https://www.pcgamer.com/watch-a-ton-of-new-cards-from-hearthstones-rastakhans-rumble-expansion-revealed-at-1-pm-est/
Five hours from roughly two hours ago, which by my calculations will take us to 10 am PT/1 pm ET or thereabouts (which is also what it says on the reveal schedule), Hearthstone senior designer Peter Whalen and streamer RegisKillbin will unveil some of the new cards coming to the game in the Rastakhan's Rumble expansion. The card dump is happening on Twitch, and you can watch along with us right here.
Update: The reveal stream has now concluded, but you can still watch how it went down here. We've embedded all the cards that were shown above, starting with the most exciting—a new legendary called Jan'alai the Dragonhawk. This is the Loa for the Mage class, and it synergises strongly with the hero power buff which is granted by its accompanying Spirit of the Dragonhawk card. Deal eight damage with your Hero Power over the course of the game, and when you play Jan'alai its Battlecry effect will summon Ragnaros the Firelord.
Darksiders 3 begins with an exhausting lore dump
https://www.pcgamer.com/darksiders-3-begins-with-an-exhausting-lore-dump/
I’m a wee bit worried, pals. Darksiders 3, resurrected by THQ Nordic, is almost upon us, and I can’t muster up very much enthusiasm. Tom found Darksiders 3 under-featured and underwhelming when he took a preview build for a spin, and now the intro trailer is making me very eager for a nap. Unfortunately, this tale of Fury and the apocalypse begins with an exhausting lore dump. Cure your sleep deprivation by checking it out, above.
InXile boss Brian Fargo is so happy about the Microsoft deal he canceled his retirement
https://www.pcgamer.com/inxile-boss-brian-fargo-is-so-happy-about-the-microsoft-deal-he-canceled-his-retirement/
The news that Microsoft had acquired RPG studios inXile and Obsidian came as a not-entirely-happy surprise among at least some gamers who like the studios as it is—and yes, I'm talking about myself here. I like the games like Bard's Tale 4 that inXile makes, and I really don't want to see that success messed with. In a recent interview with Eurogamer, however, inXile boss Brian Fargo did a pretty good job of making the case that the deal is all upside, as it will give the studio "more resources and potentially more time" to work on its games.
Fortnite might be adding a 'Chicken Trooper' skin conceived by an 8-year-old

"The Chicken Trooper" appeared on Reddit a couple of months ago, shared by tfoust10, the parent of an eight-year-old lad named Connor who drew it as a suggestion for a Fortnite skin. Shortly after that, another redditor by the name of Etsyturtle2 cleaned up the design, added a few features, and christened it with a new name: The Tender Defender. And now it looks like the flightless feathered creature with the googly eyes and the egg whisk axe might actually be coming to the game.

The Gamers' Choice Awards, "the first and only network televised awards show celebrating the booming worlds of gaming and esports," has announced its nominees for 2018 and opened the doors to the voting booth. Put together by the creators of the Teen Choice Awards, the GCAs feature a big range of conventional categories like favorite shooter and most anticipated game, but puts a much greater focus on the people who play and share them.
Rainbow Six Siege's next patch will buff Smoke and Mute, redesign skins shop

Following yesterday’s reveal of Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Wind Bastion, Ubisoft has released patch notes that detail a batch of lower-profile changes coming alongside the new operators and map. The patch mostly consists of small bug fixes, but some notable changes include a loadout change for Mute and another nerf for Zofia.

Rinse and Repeat HD is developer Robert Yang's update to an already excellent male shower simulation, adding controller and rumble support, improved graphics, and tweaks all around. It's out today for whatever price you see fit. That means 'it's free', but maybe throw a couple bucks Yang's way.

League of Legends' new LGBTQ character is a mischevious lizard girl
https://www.pcgamer.com/league-of-legends-new-lgbtq-character-is-a-mischevious-lizard-girl/
League of Legends’ newest champion, Neeko, is an upbeat shapeshifter who reminds me a wee bit of one of my favourite superheroes, Squirrel Girl. But instead of a squirrel, she’s a chameleon. She’s also the latest LGBTQ character to join the game. Check out her trailer above.
Firaxis has summoned a storm on Twitch to tease something new
https://www.pcgamer.com/firaxis-has-summoned-a-storm-on-twitch-to-tease-something-new/
There’s a storm brewing on the Firaxis Twitch channel, and it’s starting to get pretty nasty. The stream started yesterday, displaying a cloudy sky and a city below. Now, that city looks like it’s in imminent danger. Why is Firaxis threatening this city with foul weather? Has Sid Meier packed in the day job and embarked on a life of super-crime?
Please excuse my bad English.
