Ubisoft's Black Friday sales cuts Assassin's Creed Odyssey almost in half
https://www.pcgamer.com/ubisofts-black-friday-sales-cuts-assassins-creed-odyssey-almost-in-half/
It’s Black Friday in a few days, the wonderful time of the year when Rebecca Black comes out of her cocoon to sing about her favourite day and promote excellent deals. Black Friday can’t be contained to a single day, however, because capitalism isn’t just for November 23. That’s why Ubisoft’s got some frankly ridiculous deals on the go already, including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at almost half price.
Judging by the extremely long list, it looks like almost everything is going cheap over at Ubisoft’s store. There’s the newer stuff, like Far Cry 5’s 50 percent discount, letting you snatch it for £25/$30, and Ghost Recon Wildlands, which is only £15/$20. If you fancy some older Assassin's Creed adventures, however, give Black Flag a try.
At GOG there's a special weekly sale that will last until the 22th. Why? Maybe Thanksgiving/Black Friday and the fact that Steam will have a special sale on the 22th have something to do with that.... In any case, this sale, named Lucky to have found you, brings lesser known games up to 75% off: https://www.gog.com/promo/20181119_weekly_sale
At Fanatical, there's a few new deals:
- The Star Deal is Yakuza 0, 42% off for the next 48 hours: https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/yakuza-0
- To celebrate Black Friday, there's a new code to save an extra 10% off from your purchases: BLACKFRIDAY10. Check out all the game on sale: https://www.fanatical.com/en/on-sale
- Two Point Hospital is 21% off (29% with the code from above) for the next 7 days: https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/two-point-hospital
- Monster Hunter World is 26% off (33% with the extra discount) for the next 4 days: https://www.fanatical.com/en/franchises/monster-hunter

Discord's version of Early Access now live, includes a few indie gems
https://www.pcgamer.com/discords-version-of-early-access-now-live-includes-descenders-and-kynseed/
A month after launching its own game store, Discord's version of Early Access has gone live with an impressive five-game lineup.
The "first wave" of Discord Early Access games includes whimsical RPG Kynseed, cute dino management game Parkasaurus and downhill biking game Descenders, which could well be the heir to Skate's throne.
The other two games are Mad Machines, which is basically Rocket League with robots, and PT-inspired horror game Visage. Yes, it's only five games, but I'm impressed with the quality that Discord have pulled on board.

https://www.dsogaming.com/news/this-mod-for-metal-gear-solid-5-allows-you-to-play-as-ocelot-from-metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater/
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is more than three years old and there are still mods coming out for it. In September, we informed you about a mod that let gamers play as naked Quiet and today, modder ‘JinMar’ released a mod that lets gamers play as Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
JinMar has vertex edited Ocelot’s head to match the one from the original Playstation 2 game, and used some pachislot screenshots and wallpapers to create his textures. In case you weren’t aware of, Metal Gear Solid 3 saw a port to the FOX Engine for pachinkos, and the modder used the upgraded 3D model of Ocelot as a reference in order to create the new textures.

Alien Isolation VR mod adds motion controller support, making it one of the best VR games to date
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/alien-isolation-vr-mod-adds-motion-controller-support-making-it-one-of-the-best-vr-games-to-date/
Back in 2014, we informed you about a mod for Alien: Isolation that re-enabled Oculus Rift Support. Since then, modder ‘Nibre’ has been working on this mod – obviously not on a daily basis – and released yesterday a new version that adds proper motion controller support. As such, Alien Isolation can now be fully played in VR – on both the Oculus Rift and Vive headsets – and appears to be one of the most immersive and amazing VR games to date.
Thanks to this newly introduced motion controller support, players can actually hold the tracker and guns in their hands and aim like in real life. Now this sounds amazing and is how a proper VR game should be playing (instead of using a controller or a K&M like with the older versions of this mod).
