But using official figures we can see software is continually selling more and more each week, as you'd expect as installbase continues to grow and the number of games released continues to increase.

These are all the official software figures Sony has released, throughout it's entire life as of June 30th 2018, it's sold an average of 3.22m software per week, the highest it's ever been. Unfortunately can't get yearly numbers because software hasn't been as consistently reported as hardware.

Apparently it's 853m now after September 31st.
