Denuvo 5.3 anti-tamper tech has been cracked, Hitman 2 cracked days prior to its official release

Things are not looking good for Denuvo. A few days ago, we reported about Denuvo 5.2 getting cracked in just five days by a new video-games cracking group. And today, this very same group was able to crack Denuvo 5.3 and Hitman 2 two days prior to its official release.
From the looks of it, this new group – that uses the same name as GOG’s FCKDRM initiative – has cracked the game’s Gold Edition that has been available to those that have pre-ordered the game since Friday. However, the game will officially release to everyone else on November 13th.

Yakuza Kenzan is completely playable on the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3

Yakuza 0 was a really amazing game on the PC that introduced PC gamers to this really unique series. As such, I’m pretty sure that a lot of gamers would want to play more Yakuza games and I’m happy to report that Yakuza Kenzan is completely playable on the latest version of the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3.

According to the RPCS3 team, fans are currently working on an English translation, meaning that once it’s complete all gamers will be able to experience it.
The RPCS3 team has also shared a video showing 13 minutes of gameplay footage from the game running on this amazing PS3 emulator.

Dark Souls and NieR Automata fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘Cherrydoom’ has released a new mod for Dark Souls Remastered that replaces the main character with 2B from NieR Automata.
According to the modder, the model replaces the Hard Leather Armor set, so you can get it at the start of the game by selecting the Warrior class. This mod works for both male and female characters and parts are separated so they can be mixed and matched with original Dark Souls armor (though only the full outfit has been tested for collision issues).

Midgar Studio and Playdius have announced that their highly anticipated JRPG adventure Edge of Eternity will launch into Steam Early Access on December 5th. This Early Access launch will let players embark on their journey into the world of Edge of Eternity. Free updates will expand the game world and add major new story chapters throughout the Early Access period.

Microsoft and Turn10 have removed loot boxes from Forza Motorsport 7

Now here is something really interesting. Microsoft and Turn10 have removed the loot boxes from Forza Motorsport 7 via its November update. As the development team noted, prize crates have been officially removed and in their place Turn10 added a new Race Shop feature, where players can grab items like Driver Gear, Mod cards, and more.

Bethesda will use an upgraded version of the Creation Engine for The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield

I think most of us saw that coming. Even though The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield target next-generation platforms, Bethesda will be still using for them the Creation Engine. Of course the publisher stated that it will be an upgraded version however we don’t know whether the big issues that have plagued this engine will be addressed or not.

Cloud Imperium has announced that Star Citizen Alpha 3.3 is now available to all backers. Alpha 3.3 features Object Container Streaming; a processing tool that controls how much of the game’s massive universe must be loaded by player’s CPU.

Crackdown 3 releases on February 15th, gets brand new trailers

Microsoft has announced that Crackdown 3 will be released on February 15th, 2019. In order to celebrate this announcement, Microsoft has also released some new trailers and revealed the game’s multiplayer combat arena, Wrecking Zone.

Microsoft has acquired Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment

And it appears that the rumours were true after all. Microsoft has just announced that it has acquired both Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment. These two PC studios are now part of Microsoft’s first party studios so it will be interesting to see what games they’ll be developing for Microsoft’s platforms.
>> I get the acquisition of Obsidian, but inXile? Their games are smaller than what MSoft usually does.
