Friday news, part two:

Bethesda is 'looking into' adding text chat for Fallout 76
https://www.pcgamer.com/bethesda-is-looking-into-adding-text-chat-for-fallout-76/
Based on player feedback from the Fallout 76 beta, Bethesda detailed a few changes it'll be adding to the game on Reddit yesterday. These changes include support for ultrawide resolutions, an increase in player stash weight limits, and a push-to-talk option. Missing from the post, however, was any mention of adding text chat, an important and completely standard feature for multiplayer PC games that players have been asking about since the PC beta began.

The Long Dark episode 3 delayed, 'Redux' episodes 1 and 2 coming in December

Hinterland Studio creative director Raphael van Lierop delivered some disappointing news yesterday when he announced that the third episode of The Long Dark, which had been set to go live in December, isn't going to make it. But that bad news actually arises from bigger-picture good news—although the good news in question is the result of even more serious bad news. It's all kind of complicated, so I'll let van Lierop explain.

Tannenberg, the "realistic" First World War FPS that debuted on Steam Early Access a year ago, will go into full release on February 13, 2018, M2H and Blackmill Games announced today. The developers also teased a special winter offensive event and revealed plans to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that ended the war on November 11, 1918, with a two-minute in-game silence.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is a dramatic improvement on the base game in just about every way: It's "the second wind Destiny 2 needed," Austin said in his high-scoring review, with "expanded RPG elements and quality of life changes" that make it more compelling and less frustrating. Nonetheless, Activision said in its third quarter earning calls today that it is "not performing as well as we'd like."

Legends of Runeterra trademarked by League of Legends devs Riot Games
https://www.pcgamer.com/legends-of-runeterra-trademarked-by-league-of-legends-devs-riot-games/
Riot has filed several trademarks for Legends of Runeterra, covering everything from clothes to software. The trademarks, of which there are nine in total, were filed in the middle of October this year. They’re broad, but the safe money is on a new game and lots of merchandising.

Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Wind Bastion's map has been leaked
https://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-siege-new-map/
We’ve known that Rainbow Six Siege would be taking a trip to Morocco for a year, but until now we’ve not known much more than that. Ubisoft’s first vague teaser for the new map, appearing on Twitter yesterday evening, doesn’t really change that. It does, however, suggest that the wait won’t be much longer.
Update: Footage of Rainbow Six Siege's Morocco map has leaked, giving us a much more detailed look at the Atlas Mountains stronghold. The leak comes courtesy of Redditor velocitycontrol, who alleges that the video comes from Ubisoft Thailand.
