Believe it or not, Simpsons: Road Rage. It was a buggy Crazy Taxi knockoff but the Simpsons theme was fun and the two player mode was vey popular in my house. It probably deserved to be More recently, maybe Super Toy Cars? It is no Mario Kart or MicroMachines, but for 8 dollars it scratches the racing itch pretty well.
