If I were a betting man, I'd wager that this bout of pearl clutching originated from resetera where a bunch of overprivileged people were fighting over who could be offended for minorities the loudest in the vain hopes that their virtue signaling would either get them attention or a chance to get laid. Hopefully this will lead to nothing since all of their attention is currently being focused on defending a multi-billion dollar corporation from their bad PR mistakes with Diablo Immortal.
