well, you can make a game that is very similar, but "realistic" graphics are harder to realize in the engine, so it may end up looking more cartoony/artsy
it probably wouldn't be a seemless open world either, yet from what we've seen loading times between linked areas are very fast (single digit seconds) and as you afaik can interlink like a million areas there should be enough space available
