They're not born in their parents country though as things go the new born only has connections to the place they're born that's the whole point, other countries for example aren't going to hand out citizenship by default just because your dad was from there otherwise half the world would be duo citizens.

The other flaw is going by what you're saying here only Mexicans (ironically) and Native Americans should be US citizens because the rest of America had ancestry born outside of the country meaning most of them are British, Spanish and French citizens as they'd all have to be EU citizens because that's who their ancestors belonged to under your view.
