This is why I always reserve judgement on Rockstar games until I actually read user reviews. Things that a lot of people dislike about their works seem to often fall through the cracks when it comes to professional reviews from the big outlets. Slow animations, clunky controls, bad aiming, repetitive tasks, and a lack of overall fun were the reasons I quit playing the first game after a couple of days and it looks like this game is in the same category. It just doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy.
Also, reading about it kind of ticks me off for a reason that's become an absolute pet peeve for me about the gaming industry. People LOVE options. Everyone has things they like and things they dislike. Why are developers dead set on making people play a certain way?
MCM (Mod Configuration Menu) came out about a year ago for Fallout 4 and it already has over 20,000 endorsements on Nexus. It's framework that allows mod authors to give people control over how they play and it's AWESOME.

The result is that people can use that framework to control every aspect of gameplay.

Options should be the future of gaming. Hell, it should be the present, too.
