Sony ramping up censoring of Japanese games, now forcing all Japanese games to go through Western content inspections

So does this apply to non-lewd games too? If so, wouldn't that screw over a lot of Japanese devs?

That really sucks for PS fans that are into those games. Pretty much Sony is pushing them away. I don't know why though, who does it benefit?
