The Destiny franchise. I liked beta PVP, year 1 destiny 1 pvp, and the lead up to vault of glass. I would have rated Destiny 1 at launch a 6.5 in pvp and 4 in pve. I would say Taken King, D2 and everything after were like 2 out of 10 literally unplayable. The direction it took with taken king and destiny 2 did not adress my criticisms in the game. They actually got far worse. Grimoire in destiny 1 was a bad design choice, and destiny 2 added like 5 scannables per planet that were so comically worse. Everything about this franchise was a failure. I just dislike everything about the franchise and find the horrible story Destiny 1 shipped with to be the tip of the iceberg for all its problems.
Also, Halo 4 which Ive gone on the record to calling it the worst video game Ive ever played. I had a 6 kd in halo 4s multiplayer mostly playing big team battle slayer its main mode. Also have an 8 kd in halo5 warzone but I liked Halo 5 a tiny bit. Former Halo2/3 competitive player and loved campaign. Halo 4 really killed the franchise and I despise the story changes. From master chief getting disrespected by random infantry to him hugging a hologram of cortana.
The main problem with Bungie and Halo is that these teams and a lot of the people who left, quit, and got fired all needed each other. Their strengths and weaknesses made the first three halo games great. Im also willing to admit the Halo franchise especially in campaign always had flaws, but there’s no doubt quality went down since Halo 3 ODST to the 343i games.
