Each game has different strengths. For games like BOTW or Witcher 3, combat may not be their strongest point, but the exploration and open world concepts they provided are. GoW is known for its combat and the journey of a father and a son (haven't played it yet so I don't know what else is there besides the gameplay I've already seen at E3 and such). GoW is what BOTW and Witcher 3 are not and vice versa. That's what makes games interesting. Each game, especially great ones, have aspects that work really well and standout among the rest of the crowd. |
Yea i tend prefer games with amazing combat, although i do enjoy huge open world games, they just get boring at some point after you did enough exploring.
