I think the main reason is that Switch (Nintendo platforms in general) is not the place for the current mainstream AAA business model: games like a service, based on microtransactions and these stuff. If I were a company based on that, Id rather develop more games for one/ps4 where this business model work than on switch.
Evidence is that traditional AAA single player experiences are more likely to appear on switch (some Bethesda).
Also, if it was easier to port and put on a cartridge, if they had the same infrastructure, would be more likely to some of these games to appear, but still not the main reason.
