Haven't you given up on Sony?

No, people just don't want to hear any complaints about PS4, so few actually read what I wrote. I still own PS4 Pro and PSVR, and I still in full support of Sony 1st Party Titles and PSVR titles. I just moved my time and the ~$5,000 I spend each year on 3rd party games and Digital Movies/TV to Xbox.

To Sony's credit, they did solve my PS Now, and Cross Play complaints within a few weeks/days of me posting my rant. Now they just need to up their game on PS Video and the PS4 OS.

I am still very invested in Sony, and very interested in what they do in the future. It's just for the first time in 20 years, another company is also going in a direction I support, and even more so than Sony at the moment. Microsoft has completely changed the way they are handling Xbox, and it is right in line with Ken Kutaragi's vision for PlayStation, and I love it.

I have seem your thread and read your posts, it was just that the points you were making were the least relevant to most of customers as you could see from your insistence on the unified OS to put on TVs and Phones.

I sure can understand you having X1X and putting money on third parties on it because they perform better, but other points were strange.

Great news. Sony is really ramping up its 1st party Studios. Seems like they are going to go to multiple teams per studio vs creating/buying new studios. As far as I can remember, Sony Bend, Guerrilla Games, Naughty Dog, and now Santa Monica are all hiring for 2nd projects. With games taking 4 - 6 years to develop, it makes since that they would run multiple projects on offset schedules.

Now, we just need Polyphony to expand, and make wider use of Gran Turismo, or just make Gran Turismo much bigger. Honestly I would love to see Gran Turismo turn into a service, and basically offer a combined Open World and Circuit Expereince.

For me the ultimate play for two team studios would be one team working VR, and the other team working Retro. I would love to see Santa Monica do a ground up VR title, along a sequel to GOW(2018).

Polyphony Digital are huge. They are just very in efficient at getting games done.

They for most time had like 1/3 to 1/2 the size of Turn 10 and that was one of the main reason why they took lot longer to put out the games.
