Yeah the back tracking per say wasn't bad but the the inconsistency of fast travel locations was, my only other main gripes are some of the platforming design were tediously designed (some parts intentional like the white palace) to be frustrating and they need a more consistent check point system as like with fast travelling locations they were inconsistent an example being in the Hive where the is only one in the whole area in some remote part with the last bench being in a previous region.

Other than that it's one of the best Metroidvania games around imo to the point it can stand with games even in the two series that created the genre.
