For now, people in the US only - although feel free to extrapolate vrs your current (local) price, and answer.

I still wouldn't grab one if the PS3 dropped to $799 locally (currently still $1000AU).

(since most people on this site are "harder core" gamers, price is less of an issue - so if they want it, they will buy one anyway - at any price. This may all be a moot point, after the price cut has been debunked by Sony anyway...)
