If nothing else I give Sony credit for solid shipment predictions. Usually right on the money. This says to me that they are pretty in-tune with the market itself, and have very clear understanding of what the demand for their product really is. Microsoft predicted 1 billion consoles sold this gen... a billion. Nintendo, with 3 months left in calendar and 6 months in fiscal year 2018 will need to put the pedal to the medal if they want to reach 20 million. Something like 12 million units. Which I frankly don't think is possible. But if it does, it will have to outsell the PS4 to have a chance.
