In an interview with Vulture published earlier this week, Rockstar's Dan Houser made mention of specific members of Red Dead Redemption 2's dev team working 100-hour weeks. He later clarified the statement, and a number of current Rockstar employees have since spoken of their experience within the company.

Battlefield 5 will feature a number of singleplayer "War Stories," including one—The Last Tiger—that's presented from the Nazi point of view. That's a tricky bit of business: as the unequivocal, universal bad guys in human history, Nazis shouldn't be the heroes of any story.

Rocket League's 'RocketID' has been delayed into 2019

RocketID, which will enable cross-platform friends and parties in Rocket League, was delayed beyond its planned September rollout so that developer Psyonix could "ensure that RocketID is operating flawlessly on all platforms before its release." A new date wasn't set at the time but the studio that more information would be released "when the time is right."
The time became right today, and while we still don't have a release date, Psyonix has now confirmed that it won't be out until sometime next year.

Fortnite's floating island is up to something

Just before Fortnite Season 6 kicked off, we saw the mysterious cube summoned in Season 5 melt into Loot Lake. Shortly after, it returned, taking the house at the center of Loot Lake on a magic carpet ride all over Fortnite's map on a cyclonic floating island. Over the last three weeks, the island has visited the corrupted areas on the map, previously printed by the cube, and 'activated' them. The process pulls the rune into the air and unearths volcanic craters that spew out mostly harmless bouncy lava. (Yes, I'm still talking about Fortnite).
Having just activated the last rune, the cube carrying the island is now emitting purple lightning and a noise nearly identical to the purple lightning that summoned the cube in the first place. Small streaks are also moving towards the top of the island (see the embedded tweet below).
