No matter how they try to downplay it, she has Native American pedigree "6-10 generations ago." Dr. Carlos Bustamante, a renowned geneticist. "The error rate is less than one-in-a-thousand", he said.

My father came from India & was Anglo-Indian: he looked Indian and had to deal with racial prejudice. It makes me quarter Indian (both his parents were Anglo-Indian) but I would never identify as coming from a minority because you would never know if I didn't tell you. When I hear that Elizabeth Warren claims to come from a minority due to her Native American ancestry I think, as everyone else with any common sense does, “what a load of BS”. The DNA test doesn't make a bit of difference: she's someone who has benefited all her life from white priviledge who claims a hint of an exotic bloodline if she thinks it will give her an additional advantage. Frankly she should be ashamed and this will not play at all to voters of colour, but it doesn't matter because Warren was never going to be the Democrats’ pick anyway. After the way Trump took apart Hillary they're not going to run an older woman against him.
