Friday news, part two:
Fallout 76 fans call out perceived Brotherhood of Steel timeline discrepancy
https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-fans-call-out-perceived-brotherhood-of-steel-timeline-discrepancy/
A group of Fallout 76 fans have called out a perceived discrepancy in Fallout 76's timeline, relative to long-serving series faction The Brotherhood of Steel.
As reported by Eurogamer, Reddit user Baffodil voiced concerns about the following in-game note which alludes to the Brotherhood's presence in West Virginia's Appalachia—the setting of the incoming multiplayer shooter RPG. Baffodil, and a number of other prospective players, reckon the BoS's presence in east coast USA in the year 2102 (when 76 takes place) is less than likely.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Amorous Adventures DLC out next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/kingdom-come-deliverance-amorous-adventures-dlc-out-next-week/
Watch the first trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance's next DLC, featuring a loved-up Hans Capon above. And know that the action role-player's Amorous Adventures is due next week.
So, what's going on above? Well, the bold Hans is in love, says publisher Deep Silver, and requires Henry's guidance as he attempts to woo romantic interest Karolina. Things are far from straightforward, though, and a lost family jewel, a magic love potion and "the most romantic poem of all" all promise to thwart Cupid's arrow.
'More than one and less than 12' games based on 2000 AD are in the works

If you know anything about British developer/publisher Rebellion, you probably know that they own the comic book anthology 2000 AD, on top of making games like Sniper Elite and Strange Brigade. Back in August, I had the chance to sit down with studio co-founder and CEO Jason Kingsley, where I asked him about the process of licensing out stories from 2000 AD's four decades in print. This began back in February 2017, and I was curious to hear about the results.
Return of the Obra Dinn, from the maker of Papers, Please, comes out next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/return-of-the-obra-dinn-from-the-maker-of-papers-please-comes-out-next-week/
More than four years after it was first revealed to the world, Return of the Obra Dinn, "an insurance adventure with minimal color" being developed by the maker of Papers, Please, will be out next week—October 18.
The subtitle is odd but accurate: The game tells the tale of the merchant ship Obra Dinn, which was declared lost in 1802 but reappeared five years later, drifting, with damaged sails and no crew. You, an insurance investigator for the East India Company, must get aboard the ship, assess the damages, and figure out what went wrong. Its first-person exploration is rendered entirely in 1-bit color—that is, monochrome—with core rendering resolution locked to 800x450.

Brazil's Public Ministry of the Federal District and Territories has called on Valve to remove the 2D beat-em-up Bolsomito 2K18 from Steam. The demand follows an investigation into Valve, Steam, and developer BS Studios over allegations that the game promotes hatred and violence against minorities and is intended to influence the country's presidential election.

The most excellent city management sim Cities: Skylines is getting a new industrial update later this month called, appropriately, Industries. Paradox Interactive described it as one of the game's "most in-depth expansions," with five new maps, new buildings, policies, city services, and more.
Fortnite is getting a new vehicle called the Quadcrasher
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-is-getting-a-new-vehicle-called-the-quacrasher/
Fortnite is getting a new vehicle called the Quadcrasher, which looks very much like it sounds: It's a quad equipped with a sort of cow catcher/snowplow blade up front, with an angry (yet oddly cute) face painted on it.
>>And there's also new skins.
