Is USB C the future?

And for me, USB-C isn't the future since it's already the present.

On flagships. Mid-end phones don't have it yet, and it's not like it's "premium" technology or anything.

I don't know about LG and HTC mid-end phones but the cheapest Sony phone is the Xperia L2 and it has USB-C, so has the Galaxy A3
