Oh, you can be damn sure I have no sympathy for you either.

I haven't asked for any.  I didn't make a post on VGC complaining about fascism, then complaining about the the "fascist" trying to give people the means to defend themselves against their (very bad, according to you) government.

You gotta wake up dude.  You're standing in your own way.

Or maybe he's just a pacifist, and it isn't a political thing? I mean if I were forced to live in Brazil I'd consider it for purely practical reasons knowing what I know about the current climate there (not even just political, but cultural), but I can respect if a dude is just against that sort of thing. So should you Mr. Freedom. Sure it's not the most pragmatic thing to be pacifist or anti-weapon in a society that's actually collapsing around you, but you of all people should understand the desire of a person to live life the way they want to, and for him, that's weapon free. And a politician doesn't have to check off literally every box to be a fascist, nor do they have to be literally fascist to be horrifically authoritarian so as to inspire the kind of sadness he's feeling. Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin are on opposite ends of the supposed left-right political spectrum, but I'd be pretty sad to live under either horrifically authoritarian regime, and I think so would he, and you, if you're being honest, would prefer the USA's not nearly as authoritarian government to China, Russia, or North Korea.
