UL Benchmarks has added a new "Night Raid" test to 3DMark designed to evaluate the performance of laptops, tablets, and other mobile computing devices with integrated graphics. To celebrate the release, UL Benchmarks is offering a 75 percent discount on the Advanced Edition when purchased on Steam or its own website. That knocks the price down from $29.99 to $7.49.
You can still grab 3DMark's Basic Edition for free, and it even includes the new Night Raid test. What you get with the Advanced Edition are additional tests that run at higher resolutions, like Fire Strike Extreme and Ultra, hardware monitoring, access to custom benchmark setting, the ability to skip the demo option, and a few other perks. You also need the Advanced Edition if you plan to save your results online.

YouTube’s ‘John GodGames Emus’ has shared a new video, showing Halo 3 running on the latest version of the Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia. As we can see, the team behind this emulator has made some progress and addressed some graphical glitches.
While there have been some improvements, Halo 3 is not yet playable on Xenia. As we can see, and while an Intel Core i7 8700K @ 5.0 Ghz with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 can run the game at 30fps, there are still some graphical issues and some annoying stutters.

Now here is something really, really cool. While Activision has not announced anything official yet about SPYRO Reignited Trilogy coming to the PC, PC fans will be able to enjoy Spyro in Half-Life thanks to this amazing mod.
Titled Half-Life: Year of the Dragon, this mod brings the cute dragon with its powers to Valve’s classic shooter, Half-Life. Players will be able to control Spyro in third-person mode, use its breath fire in order to destroy crates, and collect crystals and fight some Half-Life enemies.

STR_Paragor and a team of modders are working on a fan remake of the first Painkiller game in Unreal Engine 4, called Painkiller: Redux. The team has successfully ported all the levels of the game’s first chapter and released some new screenshots that you can find below.
According to its description, Painkiller: Redux aims to brig the first Painkiller game in Unreal Engine 4 in order to create a good co-op and new gameplay experiences, as well as a platform for the development of subsequent plot modifications.
Although there is no ETA yet on when this remake will come out – or whether there will be a demo for its first chapter – the team has managed to port all levels from the first chapter, all types of ammunition, all types of weapons, all types of health, and the original setting of the sky. Furthermore, gameplay elements were written for the enemy’s spawn, the appearance of control points, as well as the main menu.

Last year, I described Jamal Rashid's NaturalVision Remastered as GTA 5's most impressive visual overhaul mod. I stand by that claim, but now reckon it's got competition. L00's PhotoRealistic San Andreas ENB is simply jaw-dropping.
Billed as an "all-in-one and sophisticated visual enhancer", PRSA is compatible with all weather and lighting mods, and applies custom shaders to "offer the most natural and realistic visuals possible."
The results are pretty spectacular, which are of course best portrayed in pictures.
