1: Yeah, wish listing exists here in the web version of PS Store but many request the feature to be available directly on PS4 (together with gift giving).

I wonder why it's still unticked on the most requested list. Can you also clean your "library" on PS3 and Vita?

2: Yeah, it's pretty interesting to see that so many features are added eventually. Better late than never, I guess.
I'd be surprised if PS5 didn't have bc with PS4 games (and maybe other PS consoles). I might only use it myself for a few PS1 and PS2 classics if they get trophy support but it's still a really nice feature to have especially to avoid droughts in the beginning of a gen. Additionally, with full bc on PS5 it wouldn't be that big of a deal if one's PS1/PS2/PS3/PS4 console died.
