Playground Games has announced that Forza Horizon 4 surpassed two million players in its first week. Going into more details, more than 4.6 million hours of Forza Horizon 4 gameplay have been watched across Mixer, Twitch, YouTube and Facebook as of October 9th.
Furthermore, players have logged more than 822.7 million miles – that’s probably not covered under manufacturer warranty, the community has settled in quite nicely living the Horizon Life, purchasing more than 4.1 million properties and owning more than 74.4 million cars, and more than 377.7 million roads were discovered.

The Black Mesa team has released two new screenshots from the upcoming Xen levels of this Source remake of the classic Half-Life game. Although there isn’t any ETA yet on when the Xen levels will be released, these screenshots will give you an idea of the art style that the team aims to create.

Washington's Malevolence is a "DLC-sized quest mod" for Fallout 3 that takes players on a hunt for the Rocky Cape Bank on Maddox Island in Chesapeake Bay, rumored to be filled with untold prewar riches. Mod maker Adam "garfield2004b" Sweet said players "will get to explore the island, visit several new locations, and meet different people from different backgrounds that will shape and mold the events that take place."
You'll need to have Fallout 3 installed and updated to version 1.7, as well as all the DLC: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta. You will also need the Fallout Script Extender and WMUpdates.esp.

Update: Those of you familiar with Dark Souls lore will know history is doomed to repeat itself in Lordran. But this is taking the piss. Notaprofi's New Game Plus Infinite mod has made its way from Dark Souls' Prepare to Die Edition to its Remastered variation. The new instalment does everything as before, but also brings with it some subtle tweaks designed to improve challenge runs, and to make the mod generally easier to use.

Earlier this year, I wrote about an XCOM 2 mod that adds over 1,000 lines from the cult space sitcom Red Dwarf. It's hilarious and I love it. After writing about War of the Chosen's Tactical Legacy DLC earlier today, I had another rummage in the sci-fi strategy's Steam Workshop. I found Carl Johnson. I wasn't disappointed.
Any game that shoehorns GTA: San Andreas' protagonist CJ into its bounds is a winner in my book. Any game that adds 929 voice lines from Grove Street's finest is golden.

Fallout 76 will not support mods until December 2019, will only be available on private servers

Fallout 76 releases next month and from the looks of it there won’t be any official mod support at launch. As Pete Hines told Gamespot, the game will not support mods at least until December 2019, and the supported mods will only be available on private servers.

 

First official Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered details; new lighting rendering system, characters, textures and more

Ubisoft has revealed the first official details for the remastered version of Assassin’s Creed 3 that is included in the Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Season Pass. According to its official page, this remastered version comes with a new lighting rendering system, new character models, new textures and a denser crowd.

 

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey trainer offers for free the game-changing XP booster

In case you weren’t aware of, Odyssey features level-gating missions, meaning that you need to reach a certain level in order to complete both main and side quests. This feature was also present in Origins, however in Odyssey Ubisoft is offering an EXP booster that bypasses this “feature.” Naturally this XP booster is behind a pay-wall and thankfully a trainer can offer the same thing but for free to everyone.
