Excuse me for being that insensitive, ignorant American - but isn't Brazil already in god awful shape, economically and in terms of street violence? I mean, how much worse can it possibly get?
It's a bummer because that's actually a place I was considering visiting for a time but based on what I'm hearing these days of the happenings down there I'm starting to think I should stay far away.
