the two are very different experiences. the world of RDR2 is meant to feel very alive, so you cant get away with just murdering half the population and then pretending it didnt happen. the story is also a bit more streamlined than that of GTA. while the GTA games tend to exaggerate underground crime (for example, being able to just pull a rocket launcher out of your pants at any given moment) RDR is strictly limited to its wild west setting. its basically a story-driven RPG game set in the wild west with a heavy reliance on gun-play. thats really the best way i can put it
