That will only happen if they find a way to make money off it. If it's full BC, with no string attached. I'd say that would be one of the rare good decisions they made in the last 10 years.

Microsoft are the only ones currently offering good BC. Sony and Nintendo not so much. But i expect ps5 to be fully bc. To expect ps4 to be fully ps3 bc is ridiculous. Ps5 to ps4 they have no excuse not to so I'd expect it. At the start of next gen when ps5 only games are not in abundance ps4 bc is a huge selling point and i highly doubt Sony will give MS the edge here.
