Ubisoft has finally broken its silence regarding the Splinter Cell series, and while it’s not exactly good news, there is a glimmer of hope that we might see another game.
In an interview with Game Informer, Ubisoft’s Chief Creative Officer Serge Hascoet briefly commented on the current status of both games.

Friendship-destroying cooperative game Overcooked 2 is receiving an extra course of content, in the form of New DLC Surf ‘n’ Turf.
The above launch trailer shows off the DLC's new features, all of which are themed around the new exotic location. Players will be cooking up a storm in new tropical-themed kitchens, basting on beaches, roasting on rickety rafts, and, ah, juicing in jungles (I'm so sorry).

Fortnite’s latest patch has broken free from Epic’s servers like an Arctic ice-shelf in summertime, bringing multiple new features for both Fortnite’s Battle Royale and Save the World modes.
Foremost amongst version 6.1’s updates is the “Chiller” weapon, a common trap new to Battle Royale that will freeze the feet of anyone who it’s directed toward. This can be used to wrong-foot an a opponent, or on an ally or even yourself to quickly slide away from an enemy for a cool escape. The trap can be placed on floors, walls, or ceilings, and drops in stacks of 3 in treasure chests, supply drops, supply llamas, etc.

Following the implementation of a new ban system for teamkillers, fans of Rainbow Six Siege have been pleading to Ubisoft to let players “forgive” accidental teamkilling. The new system, deployed in a September 18 patch, inflicts a harsher penalty on players that teamkill twice in the same match, banning the player from all matchmaking for 30 minutes. Subsequent offenses ban the player for one hour, two hours, 24 hours, and then a whole week.
Listen to Ben Brode's 'obvious' tips for good game development
https://www.pcgamer.com/listen-to-ben-brodes-obvious-tips-for-good-game-development/
Back in April, Ben Brode announced he was quitting his job as game director on Hearthstone to form a new studio called Second Dinner. After 15 years at Blizzard, it sounded like Brode was excited to leave the grind of being a senior executive on a global franchise to get back into the trenches of actual game development. That enthusiasm certainly comes through in the keynote Brode gave at PAX Dev at the end of August, the audio for which he recently shared on his personal YouTube channel.
