Yeah, things are good here, man. I'm on the final boss of DQ11 but I've taken a break because all my characters are at level 99 and I'm getting slaughtered ... LOL. My battering my way through fell at the last hurdle! Moving is always an upheaval but usually ends well once you're settled into that fresh, blank space. New location, new neighbours, new friends, new hope and new Dreams. Sorry to hear about your channel getting banned, it seems to be something I see more and more often these days. What did you do? Back the wrong side?

I accidentally uploaded pornography. Seeing how youtube reacted was kinda intersting. At first it was a temporary ban, which immediately escalated to lifetime, with no ability to even create a new account. Then a month or so later, I was magically signed in ( although still without an official youtube channel ) and linked to my google account, with all my youtube purchases intact. I can now "like" videos as well, but if I comment, it will officially create a new channel. My google account uses my real name, and my new channel would as well, so I don't want to do that.

So we don't get in trouble for going so far off topic: Really hoping this game does well, and lives up to the potential it has with the gaming community on as large a scale as possible. One of the most exciting releases on the the entire gen. The audio manipulation alone looks like a blast.

Oh, that's an odd situation. I won't ask how you managed to upload porn by mistake because I also don't want to derail the thread.

Dreams is going to be a success. I have no doubt about that. How big a success it will be is up in the air. I do not think it's going to do GOW or Spiderman numbers at launch. It's not out of the question but certainly unlikely. I see it selling reasonably well to begin with and then sustaining good sales as more content rolls in. I'd liken it to Youtube in that regard so the more diverse the content gets and the more quality is released, the more people will begin seeing it for what it is: a service. I actually think this is how Sony will see it too, hence the 10 year plan (more or less confirming PS5 BC).

I still think people are sleeping on the potential and not quite grasping what it is. I recently watched two videos and both judged it by the short demos MM had knocked up in their spare time. In other words, they (and others) are making the mistake of thinking 'it's a game'. It's NOT a game, it's a development tool and service for creative people. This has always been the problem when promoting this game. LBP was much easier to promote because it was a platformer first and a creation tool second. Dreams is ONLY a creation tool that can make anything you want INCLUDING platformers. It doesn't really have a central character because that is up to the developer (You).

The PS5 Exists.
