But Forza falls under both, since you can buy it else you can just use Xbox Game Pass to play. Fortnite's 80 million were monthly players though, while Horizon 3's 10 million are lifetime players.

Still more than GT Sport, which has 5 million players. There's no doubt Horizon games sell more than GT now, but GT is much bigger than Motorsport.

Forza Horizon 3 has never hit Gamespass or any actually has yet, FH4 on the 2nd October is the first Forza series game to enter Gamepass. That's what makes FH3 player count impressive when you factor in multi account consoles and used copies I think sales sitting around 7m is a fair estimate.
