The point is that it won't be a big thing regardless, and aging more and more won't help either.

So as they are still willing to release PS1 games to the modern audience, let them release it properly on their main system and not pointlessly wait more for it.

They will make it the way that gives more money. Not sure making the effort to release in PS4 would be this one.

They would win major PR points saving it for PS5 even if they won't make give much extra sales.
