I put over 90 hours in to the original (96 according to Steam, including the DLC). I've only done that for a handful of games in my life.
I would LOVE a sequel - don't care if there is a remaster except hoping it sells enough for the sequel to happen (working full time makes it unwise to sink another 100 hours in to a game you've already played 
).
