You can't compare Mario Kart to last of us or God of War since Mario Kart sales-potential is far higher than those for various reasons. Her logic is very easy to understand, despite selling relatively well Mario Kart 8 potential was hindered by a flop console. And that is true for most WiiU-games, just compare games like Mario U and Donkey Kong Country TP with their Wii predecessors |
And TLOU selling more on PS4 than it had on PS3, launching little time later with Sony admiting a good bunch of PS4 owners never had a PS3 (they can't lie on the percentages they presented) proves the same thing, that there was a reason for the remaster and that the selling potential was limited being PS3 only. So it is the same argument but with excuses made later to not accept the double standard.
But if we want to play this game what about Zelda? Been ported from GC /Wii to WiiU less than 10 years later and to a much smaller audience? Or BoTW being forced to late release to become trans generation? Or Mario 1,2 and 3 remake launching as Mario Superstars on SNES?
Nope let's all pretend Sony customers are dumb for accepting Sony releasing TLOU as basically a trans gen because some people double dipped (guess that also makes 100M suckers for buying GTA V) but the brightest on Nintendo buying Twilight princess for GC, Wii and WiiU or Pokemon for that matter are a different thing "because of reasons"
