Then you have to deal with the fact that PC is infested with DRM. Steam, Uplay, Windows Store, and Origin are all DRM. Windows is nagware, as well as spyware. 

Finally, a $1000 PC will absolutely not get you 4K, unless you are buying shoddy parts, or cutting massive corners. 

You know that consoles are literally just DRM machines right? 

If you can sell your copy it's not DRM.
