I'm just going to post this here in the hopes that Brian Flores somehow sees it;
Hey Brian, there hasn't been a rule enacted that makes it illegal for you to cover slot routes coming across the middle. In fact, there hasn't been a rule against covering receivers at all. Maybe consider trying something like that in the second half.
