I'll admit I just got around watching Tropes vs. Women in Video Games for the first time (yeah, a good 5 years or so late to the party).

From what people told me, I was expecting a crazy extremist host with an extremely biased script, but... Anita Sarkeesian just seems to be politely expressing her opinions, and she even says that these flaws she's exposing shouldn't make us dislike video games, but think a bit more about the clichés they use so often. She doesn't seem dishonest or aggressive either.

Am I not seeing something? What am I missing?

What are you missing? Alot.

- She paints a false narrative and uses cherry picked examples of "sexism" and "mysogany" in her YouTube videos.

- She's a close friend and colleague of Zoe Quinn, who despite being a feminist - engaged in sexual favors to get her "game" off the ground and is recently at the center of a fundraiser controversy where she hasn't fulfilled her pledge after more than a year, and now recently stays in Tokyo, Japan - which is ironically one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in.

- Anita tried to get Congress to (yes, this bitch AND Zoe Quinn had a seat) to enforce stricter online bullying by allowing female victims to report and subsequently arrest any male whom they deemed were harassing them - basically enforcing a "guilty until proven innocent" system.

- Anita Sarkeesian, admitted on video that she infact DOES NOT play video games. Which is kinda wierd, considering her crusade and self proclaimed knowledge of them that led her to come to the conclusion that sexism is just RAMPANT in video games.

- Anita Sarkeesian intentionally overlooks video games with strong female leads (Horizon ZD, Tomb Raider, Metroid) and continues to harp on developers despite their actual female representation.

- Anita Sarkeesian, is basically a f***ing liar.

- Zoe Quinn, is basically a f***ing hypocrite.

- Anita verbally abused and attacked "Boogie" (yeah, that fat gamer nerd) backstage when he voiced his opinion against hers at a convention panel.

- And worst of all, the video game industry is absolutely TERRIFIED of this bitch. Neil Druckman (Naughty Dog VP) gave Anita an honorary award, and EA recently wanted her "professional opinion" and invited her to their HQ. Interestingly, that was about a year before BFV was announced. Gee..I wonder if those two things have anything to do with each other....
