Thats kinda the topic of the thread.  Go back and find some of the early trailers for it, you ll see it.

 

 

Its just ironic that Sony is the one that repeatly gets called out for it, when its not even true (spiderman, god of war).
While when MS does with Sea of Theives + State of Decay, nothing....

In cases like this, you need to let the reviews do the talking. SoD2 was vastly criticised for its bugs. SoTs you are referring to a very old build of a game. Majority of games never look as good as there 1st trailers. 

Anyone expecting a game to look as good as the trailers are living on high hopes.

Also SoD2 never had any huge downgrades, in fact i cannot find anything major. 

Keep in mind that both games are released on PC so some examples can be watching someone play on Ultra and someone play on Medium settings.

They all do it, especially Sony. Both audiences on each side also complain about the others. Theres no single side to righteous.

No offence but any Twitter or comment who refers to an audience as Xtards i wont be taking seriously. 

I don't think I've ever seen downgrades on the level of Sea of Thieves and SoD2. Also lets keep in mind that these games had last gen looking graphics to start with there's no reason why they shouldn't have been able to retain that already low standard they set for themselves. I mean how incompetent can they get?

Sony games this generation have only been upgraded from their stage demos.
