PUBG dips below a million daily players for the first time in over a year

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to teem with people trying to feed their families with delicious chicken dinners, but yesterday it dipped below a million daily players for the first time in just over a year, according to numbers from SteamDB.
The dip didn’t come out of the blue. PUBG’s numbers have been slowly declining since its 3.2 million peak at the start of the year. Decline perhaps oversells it. Across the year it’s jumped around, though each peak is typically smaller than the last. Even when it went below a million players yesterday, 960,000 people is still a considerable number, along with over 90,000 people watching on Twitch.

According to its description, RedneckGDX adds support for widescreen resolutions, comes with better mouse support, packs an OpenGL renderer, supports voxels and comes with other various features/improvements.

In a recent gameplay video, IGN revealed (kudos to AccessTheAnimus for spotting it) that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will feature two gameplay modes. The first one will be called Guided Mode and will be similar to what gamers have been experiencing in the previous AC games and the other one will be called Exploration Mode.

KUNOS Simulazioni has revealed the official PC system requirements for Assetto Corsa Competizione’s Early Access phase. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-4460 or an AMD FX-8120 with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 2GB or an AMD Radeon HD 7770.
KUNOS Simulazioni recommends an Intel Core i5-8600K or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or an AMD Radeon RX 580. The game will also require 50GB of free hard-disk space.
