Literally the only reason that is a talking point on VGC is because I brought that up more than a year ago... immediately after I did people made threads expressing outrage. Lmao. You're preaching to the choir.
As far as the trailer being "cinematic", I honestly do not think it was misleading. It was just a short reveal meant to show a surprising new world. All first trailers of games are that linear and vague (or "cinematic"). Most trailers for games are more cinematic than the games but they don't advertise the game itself as being such. I DO think the final trailer was misleading, because it made me expect a great story and what we got was mediocrity.
