As with many things in life, a breakdown in communication. In this case, Kaepernick "sacrificing everything" while becoming a spokesman of a multi-billion dollar corporation...

I don't have a timeline of events on hand but I think the issue resurfaced after Trump tweeted about it... Makes me wish the president would learn when it's best just to keep his mouth shut and let things die from disinterest.
