My guess would be that the Daily Dot and We Got This Covered critics played Spider-Man 2, and liked Spider-Man PS4 more than Spider-man 2. The Metro critic can't possibly have played Spider-Man 2 if they think that a 70 is the best Spider-Man game, must be comparing it to the recent Beenox Spider-Man games. 

The Guardian is a newspaper, and they hired out Rick Lane, a freelance writer to do the review. A quick view of his profile on Opencritic shows that he hates almost everything. http://opencritic.com/critic/767/rick-lane He reviews 25 points lower than the average critic. He's a clickbait reviewer.
