So expecting a 90 is an overhype when the game hit 87? Curious metric there.

90, no, but look how many were at least a few points higher than 90. 10 people predicted 93 or higher. One guy even predicted 97. The last game to get a 97 meta was Breath of the Wild, before that it was GTA V. To be expecting a score that high out of Insomniac, a studio that hasn't gotten a 90 meta in 15 years, is overhype for sure. Not to mention the people saying it would outsell Arkham City and the people calling it GOTY already.

So the average being under 90, 10 people expecting 6 points higher than current meta and 1 being very high shows the game is overhyped at VGC? This must be a new way of measuring averages that I never heard about.

Average is under 90, less than 3 points away from meta (or less than 2 over the other aggregated score) so how can that be an overhype?
