I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider on day one for Xbox One. Then I jumped on it on day one a year later on PS4 Pro. I wasn't really impressed by the differences or the differences in modes (resolution, frame rate, graphics). Then, I played the updated Xbox One X version.
Truth be told, you forget the differences minutes after you play. It looks great no matter how you play it and if I put a version in front of you (admittedly I haven't played the PC version) on my 4K TV, you wouldn't know which version it was.
