We've all heard that Pokemon's devs have felt a bit of a challenge or spark to do more after the success of Breath of the Wild and Odyssey, and one thing both of those titles (and others like Splatoon and Kirby) have been doing is DLC.

Both in the 'continued updates after launch with new costumes, characters, and modes', and paid, larger expansions like Xenoblade 2's and Octo Expansion.

Very few if anyone is complaining about it, and I'm curious how Pokemon might go about it.

I admit I find the idea of Pokemon releasing additional player character customization an interesting idea, and there are a few ways I can see them implement updates to certain features (For example if there is a battle facility like the Battle Tree, I could see them adding in new characters from past games to battle.)

Of course I am also a guy who would not mind Amiibo tied costume unlocks: being able to scan Mario to be able to get a Mario Cap for example I'd be all for.

Yet I admit there is potential good from a paid DLC bit too: Would you pay a DLC cost for something like Rainbow Rocket instead of an entirely new game with a re-release?

Would a DLC paid quest for legendaries be better than simple giveaways?

Speak internet, speak!

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
