The Shenmue 1 & 2 collection releases on the PC in a few days and it appears that SEGA has removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from it. SEGA has been using Denuvo in pretty much all of its latest titles and this collection may be the first new release without this controversial anti-tamper tech.

Valve announced the Linux-based SteamOS in 2013, just prior to the reveal of the vaguely console-like Steam Machine PCs. It was a big, bold move that ultimately petered out: Valve ditched the Steam Machines section of its website in April, aalthough you can still hit it directly if you know the URL.
SteamOS is still alive and kicking, though—in fact, the 2.164 update was pushed just a couple of weeks ago—and now it appears that Valve is aiming to dramatically broaden its capabilities. Members of the r/linux-gaming subreddit recently discovered text strings referring to, among other things, "compatibility tools" that would enable games designed for Windows—which is to say, pretty much all of them—to run on Linux. The functionality will apparently be similar to that of the well-aged Wine, but with the added muscle of official backing and support from Valve.

Modder ‘SergeJkn’ has announced the release of the first episode for Doom II: Annie mod. This first episode features 4 challenging levels on Thanatos, which is the first planet where players will battle with the demonic hordes and finally, Annie herself.
According to the modder, this episode features many custom elements included like textures, music, sounds, entities and GZDoom specific features. SergeJkn claimed that he has tried his best to give the project a different, more modern look while also keeping intact the fast hardcore action that all classic Doom games are well known for.
