I bought mine early this year when it was on sale for $200. Honestly, I feel like the tech is lacking. I bought a PS4 Pro days later hoping it would improve the visuals, and maybe it did, but not by enough. The picture is grainy and even text can be hard to read.
Even so, Resident Evil 7 scared me shitless in VR. Holy crap, it is far scarier when you can't look away. When something comes up close to you it genuinely feels as though they are right up in your face. That scene at the beginning where Jack stabs you in the mouth for not eating the food was spot on.
If the device had a higher resolution and perhaps a larger field of view, that would go a long ways into making me truly support it, but at the moment, I cannot recommend it.
